VanDerGinst Law "Giving Program"
VanDerGinst Law is a law firm with a big heart. The firm prides itself on its “Giving Program”, which organizes countless efforts to give back to the community. Over the years the firm has donated thousands of hours in free legal work to people in need of help who had no money to pay for a lawyer. The firm, free of charge, offered services to victims of 9-11. The firm raised thousands of dollars to assist victims of Katrina. In the last few years the firm has donated over 10,000 bicycle helmets to children via its “Hard Headed Kids” campaign. (click here to read more) It has given away thousands of dollars via its scholarship program. It has also spent a like amount sponsoring various educational and sporting events and organizations. It continually organizes free legal seminars and donates its suites at the i-wirless Center and Modern Woodman Park for countless charitable efforts.
Additionally, the attorneys and staff have been active volunteers for the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, Niabi Zoo, the Quad City Arts Festival, and various church efforts, just to name a few.
This past year has been no exception. VanDerGinst Law has put in tireless hours of pro bono legal work and volunteer work. The firm, and/or its individual employees, has donated time and/or money to the following charitable or community organizations and events this past year:
